Start Training for the D&L Half Marathon
Yes, even beginners can walk a half marathon!
The Delaware & Lehigh Heritage Half Marathon–in its sixth year–is a 5-star, walker-friendly event! And with 4.5 hours to complete the 13.1 mile course, it is a great half marathon for first timers. The half is on November 6th so there’s four months to train if you start today! Here’s your training plan.
This plan is for anyone who is just starting to walk. It begins with just 15 minutes a day. If you are already walking and can do 30 minutes at least four days a week, you can start training in August. Plans will be posted soon.
