Spreading the Walking Message
For the third year in a row, my fellow walking coach Lee Scott of Toronto and I will be leading personal trainers, fitness instructors, and other wellness professionals on fun, power walking workouts at the American College of Sports Medicine’s Health & Fitness Summit in Orlando, FL, March 30th to April 1.
We’re excited to inspire fitness and health professionals to offer more walking options to their clients. It’s a great way to motivate new exercisers. It’s a perfect cross-training alternative for regular exercisers. It can even be a vigorous workout for clients who can’t do other high-impact activities. And we’re going to make it fun! For more info.
This is just one more way to promote the Surgeon General’s Call to Action on Walking and Walkable Communities!
If you can’t make the Summit, but you are interested in becoming a walking coach, want to learn more about the Call to Action, or simply want to get more out of your personal walks, email me.
